Awareness of the Pay Gap May be Less Common Than You Think

 According to a recent poll, one in three Americans are unaware of a gap in wages between men and women. To better publicize the fact that women as a whole make 20% less than men, many public figures including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama observed Equal Pay Day this April, marking the extra three months the average woman would have to work to make what a man does in a year.
